Lakshmi C. Saxena
Lakshmi C. Saxena is a uniquely gifted San Francisco Bay Area artist.
She holds masters degrees in North Indian classical music and Hindi literature,
and has studied extensively both in India and America with internationally
reknowned artists including Maestro Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, Zakir Hussain,
Kallu, and A. R. Tatke.
Lakshmi C. Saxena with Ustad Salamat Ali Khan and Shafqat
Ali Khan and featuring Amrit Gajjar on dilruba and sitar, performing
a variety of songs including "Punjabi" and Ghazals. Lakshmi demonstrates
her superb talent in the Ghazal style of singing on this beautiful recording.

Zindagi, Mahi Deyan Nazan, Raga Kaushik Dhwani, Raga Pahadi, Raga Sindi

C. Saxena and featuring Amrit Gajjar on dilrubha and Richard
Karst on flute. Lakshmi's unique voice gives a special flavor to this
collection of melodic devotional songs. Includes: Jai Shivanandan Jai Jagavandan,
Guru Deva Sharanam Deva, Madhusudan Krishna Kunja Vihari, Hey Vishwanath
Hey Gaurinath, Sad Guru Sai Saraswati, Aao Aao Hey Bhagavan. (Originally
